Use Gator Rock Bond to create a durable and decorative stone surface for pedestrian use! Available in a one gallon jug or as part of our Gator Rock Bond Kit, this product creates a permeable surface and is ideal for areas where erosion and/or drainage is a concern. Here are a few tips to keep in mind when installing Gator Rock Bond:

• It must be mixed thoroughly with clean, dry stones—never poured over rocks already in place. (Note: The kit comes with washed and dried riverstone!) 

• A compacted crushed stone setting bed is still a must. 

• For best results, install in dry conditions with temperatures above 60°F and ensure no rain for at least 24 hours after application. 

• The mixture should be applied at a thickness of about twice the size of your largest stone (or approximately ¾” if using the kit).

• When mixed at a rate of one gallon to 300–320 lbs of aggregate, coverage averages 50–60 square feet per gallon. 

• The surface will remain sticky for the first 24 hours, so protect it from dirt, leaves, and debris during that time.
